Mindfulness Meditation
Hmmm.....So what is 'Meditation' and 'Mindfulness'??
Is it a religion? No, Is it a tool? yes... Is there a goal?... Well, sort of, yes...
If there is a "goal" in meditation or mindfulness it could be said to align; or attune to the "meditative state"...
Meditation; or connecting within is important to connect in with your Soul... It is a way of contacting your Higher Self/Inner Guidance. It is a way in to your own Inner Map and Inner Knowing...
Meditation is so important in healing, spiritual growth, awareness, problem solving; and in the upleveling of our consciousness , awakening, Soul Alignment and opening to the New Emerging Consciousness to co-create the New Paradigm...
So, yet, it's kinda key.... The easy part is it's easy and there are so many ways to mediate and do the practice of mindfulness... It's just about doing it...
The practice of "meditation" and "mindfulness" is just that a "practice".... Exercises, techniques, process done on a continual basis to allow and facilitate you to connect into your "True Essence"; which is the "meditative state".
This meditative is also in Eastern Religious and Philosophical principles and in the sacred language of Sanskrit is called: " Samathi"; or "oneness".... The ultimate oneness in Sanskrit is called: "Samadhi"; or what happens when we leave our physical body and are subsumed into the Universe/s; All That Is; or God...
Meditation and Mindfulness; or Dhyana is the exercise and process of becoming "aware of what is".
Vipassana is a type of 'mindfulness'.
It is said that 'meditation' is: Dyana + Pranayama = Samathi
Awareness of "What Is" = Breath Awareness/Breath Control = Oneness
It is in this oneness that we are not "resisting" what is and the current flow of what is...
This coupled with breath awareness has the magic of bringing us into a peace and calm.
From here all things are possible.
You might still be aware of an anger, sadness, uncertainty; or any unbalancing emotions; however there will be a prevailing inner calm, tranquility and awareness that all will be ok.
This is the "truth of who we are" The understanding in meditation and mindfulness is that situations and circumstances are transitory; and that there is a part of us within that is in the unfolding of "what is" and aligned to the best outcome. In other words we are in good hands and taken care of in our life and in the present circumstances.
Meditation is not always about feeling good and is not to put us in a bliss state; or allow a state of denial. We might connect to our inner joy and feel bliss; be might reach an understanding that all is not as "bad" as it seems. Or, not... We might just become aware that we are caught up in a human emotion loop; and that's ok...
We are a Spiritual Essence; or being with a Soul having this interesting, wonderful, challenging, magical human experience, on what I like to call: Soul Playground.
We are meant to experience and express life through our emotions. We are energy in motion.
There are many forms of meditation and mindfulness practices/exercises. There are many uses for meditation and mindfulness.
